Christianity is one of the largest religions in the world. Its followers number 2.38 billion. The Christian faith is based on the life of Jesus of Nazareth.

Jesus performed miracles and taught his disciples about the power of the Holy Spirit. He also had a discerning and healing spirit.

Although Jesus performed many miracles, his supernatural ministry was the only one in the Bible. The Bible teaches that baptizing in the name of Jesus is an important part of becoming a Christian.

In the Bible, miracles are listed in two categories: a) a rebuke of a demon, and b) a healing. Both of these occur when someone is in need of spiritual help. Despite the many biblical miracles, there are still people who try to claim to have miraculous abilities.

As time went on, the emphasis on healing decreased. Church leaders questioned the legitimacy of healings. They asked how a person can know for sure that a miracle happened, let alone if it was real.

While there are many Christians who believe that God wants us all to be healthy and to have a great spiritual life, it is important to note that there are many churches that do not encourage or practice supernatural ministries.

While a number of people claim to have unusual healing abilities, the Bible states that the only miracle that will really change your life is a true faith in Christ. A committed Christian often sacrifices his or her physical health for spiritual practices.
