Miracle Healing and Christian Deliverance
Miracle Healing and Christian Deliverance
Throughout the New Testament, Jesus performed many miracles. These miracles demonstrated that he was the Son of God, and they also announced what the future would hold under his reign.
The New Testament tells us that demons sought Christ. They were drawn to him by the power of the Spirit. These demons shouted out to him, “You are the Son of God!” The Spirit was the one who led them to Christ.
In addition to the miracles that Christ performed, he also called people to be disciples. He called the twelve apostles. He named James son of Alphaeus, Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot. He also named the disciples Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Boanerges. He gave them the power to heal the sick. He also gave the authority to drive out demons.
In the early Church, many miracles were performed by the apostles. For example, when Paul was sick, he was healed. He also cast out demons in Acts 16:16-18 and in Philippians 2:25-27.
Many people came to Jesus because of his ability to heal. They believed that if they walked in faith, they would never get sick. However, their life expectancy was very short. Jesus told them that his kingdom was near.
The physical world was a temporary place, and one day it would be restored to perfection. But until then, it was a place that was kept by God. Some religions say that all physical things are evil and illusions.
