Miracle Healing in Christian Churches
The vast majority of the human race has been inoculated by Satan and his doctrines, and this is especially true of professing Christians. Thousands of churchgoers do not study the Bible and do not cite the Bible as their authority. Rather, they follow the teachings of men and the traditions they have been taught by churchgoers. Many have also attended tent meetings conducted by various “evangelists” and witnessed the mass hysteria and lack of genuine healing.
Genuine Christians, however, practice exorcism, as demons cannot dwell in the mind of a Christian. This is because the Holy Spirit rules the human spirit, and demons are unable to settle in the mind of a Christian. It is not unusual to hear of people possessed by demons in the Bible. If these people had experienced such a thing, they would have sought out Christian healing. This is normal and is practiced by Christians.
The apostles were not given the power to perform miracles, such as feeding the 5,000 or walking on water. Instead, they were given power to cast out demons, heal the sick, and raise the dead. All these miracles were intended to identify these men as messengers of God. However, these miracles were not meant to keep Christians healthy. As a result, they were not considered to be genuine. The truth is, we can never be 100% sure who is genuine.
