Christianity is one of the world’s largest religions. It is an Abrahamic monotheistic religion based on the life of Jesus of Nazareth. The religion is followed by over 2.38 billion people worldwide.
Christianity is a faith that emphasizes moral character, obedience, and consecration. In order to have a personal relationship with God, one must live a moral life. Being a follower of Christ is a challenge, as it requires being a moral person and obeying the words of Jesus.
Christianity teaches that baptism is essential to becoming a Christian. This baptism symbolizes the cleansing of sins. As part of the sacrament, the believer is forgiven and given the gift of the Holy Spirit.
The Bible gives accounts of many miracles performed by Jesus. These miracles proved the power of Jesus to heal the sick, raise the dead, and rebuke the demons. He also revealed Himself to be the Son of God.
During Jesus’ lifetime, apostles were sent out to preach the gospel. They performed miracles in order to point people to Jesus as the Savior of the world.
One of the earliest recorded miracles was performed at a wedding feast in the Cana of Galilee. When the water was turned into wine, the disciples believed in Jesus.
Later on, Jesus commanded his disciples to cleanse the lepers. At sundown, they were able to cure the sick. A few of the miracles that Jesus performed were stilling a storm, healing the paralyzed, and raising a widow’s son from the dead.
