The Role of Spirituality in the Modern World

The biblical doctrine of the Trinity stresses the unity of body, soul and spirit. Christ came to save human beings by saving their souls and raising their bodies. While a large part of the gospels focuses on reports of Jesus’ physical healings and exorcisms, Christians often argue that the divine presence is present in the human spirit. In fact, this is not the case. A human soul has an inherent worth and worthiness, and Christ came to rescue those who are deficient in these aspects.

Jesus called the people to follow him. He appointed twelve apostles. These men included James the son of Zebedee, Peter, Thomas, Andrew, and Bartholomew. The twelve disciples were responsible for leading the church. However, the disciples were not the only ones who followed Jesus. Judas, who betrayed him, was also one of them. Jesus also gave them the power to cast out demons.

However, many people have been exposed to Christianity enough to develop a strong resistance to it. They have been influenced by anti-Christian propaganda in the media and in intellectual circles. As a result, reaching people who have been formed in these circumstances is far more difficult. The majority of baptized Christians don’t practice their faith. Many are unaware of the teachings of Jesus and have no personal connection with the church or Christ.

The apostles were a small group. Their influence was limited. They had limited resources and didn’t have access to the most powerful spiritual forces. Those who were Christians had the power to cast out demons, heal the sick, and perform miracles. But this didn’t mean they should be cured of their illnesses. Instead, they should seek help from the Holy Spirit and become fully healed. It is important to recognize the differences between Christian science and the scientific sciences when analyzing the evidence on the role of spirituality in the modern world.
