Types of Christianity
Christianity is a religion that teaches about Jesus and the Bible. It also explains how people are saved from death. It also explains that people who have accepted Christ as their personal savior will have a place in heaven.
There are many different kinds of christianity and they all have a similar belief about one God, His son Jesus and using the Bible as a holy book. However, there are differences between them as well.
Christians believe that God is a Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit, not three gods), that Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity, that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead physically, and that all people are under the righteous judgment of God because they have sinned against God.
The Christian religion teaches that people can be saved from the judgment of God by having faith in Jesus Christ and not by anything they do to please God. It also teaches that those who are regenerated spiritually by the work of the Holy Spirit have been born again and become a new creation in Christ.
Those who have a genuine relationship with God through Jesus Christ will be saved from the judgment of God and spend eternity in Heaven. Those who have not been regenerated spiritually by the work of Christ will go to Hell where they will be judged and have to pay for their sins.
There are thousands of different types of christianity, all with their own beliefs and traditions. It can be confusing at times to try and decide which is best for you.
