The Kingdom-Minded Morning Prayer

The best prayer is a kingdom-minded prayer; where we would commit our entire selves to realising the kingdom of God within our own lives. When we commit to developing ourselves and acting in obedience in service of other people and our world, Christ’s kingdom has become our home, as we sit before the Throne of our King.

Prayers Are Answered In The Fullness Of Time

I think we have all waited for our prayer to be answered; maybe we are still waiting for certain things to happen to us. We may have grown weary in our wait or we might have thought about giving up but we should realize that in the fullness of time, God will answer our prayer so we should not let go but instead, be encourage knowing that God is not a man that He would lie.

The Godly Delight in Being Tested

There’s comfort available from God when we are tested, because we have nothing less than God’s full Presence and encouraging sponsorship and leadership as we follow obediently. Nobody wants us to survive (and thrive through) our tests more than God. For this we can be delighted.

Stay Faithful – Be Patient – Don’t Be Hurt

This title is the exact wording I felt God usher into my heart immediately upon reflecting over a message by Craig Groeschel called, The Strongest Link. It is a personal message, but one worthy of sharing.

God’s Here, Near, With Me, All Around

God is here, God is near, God is with me, All around, God you cannot see, Unless faith to believe is found… We can see God only by faith. To the uninitiated or the unsaved this may seem ridiculous; that we could see God, and that, by faith. For, what sort of instrument for visibility is faith? Yet when we consider that the only real hope for life and spiritual abundance and a peace beyond our own understanding is based in a decision to commit to believe in God by faith, we really do see. We see life, for the first time, in the way it is supposed to be lived.

Who Would Jesus Bomb? (A Sermon on Mark 10:32-45)

They were on the road, going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was walking ahead of them; they were amazed, and those who followed were afraid. He took the twelve aside again and began to tell them what was to happen to him, saying, “See, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and the scribes, and they will condemn him to death; then they will hand him over to the Gentiles; they will mock him, and spit upon him, and flog him, and kill him; and after three…

When Was The Law of Moses Fulfilled?

Challenges to Full Preterism have now surfaced on the meaning of Jesus’ words regarding “When Was the Law of Moses Fulfilled? Some say at the cross, others in 30Ad, and even at the end of time? Which What are the implications of each?

Persistence Pays Off

I heard a story about a man who for some reason could not get a flight out of a certain city so he went to a hotel where he frequently stayed. He asked the receptionist about a room; when she checked for a vacancy she told him that there were none, he asked her to check again and again she said that no room was available. He called for the manager and the manager checked for a room then told the man that nothing was available. The men said what if the president called and ask for a room would you find one for him? the manager said, yes we would, then the man said, well it is not likely that he is coming so can I have the room. The point of this story is persistent pays off.

Sequence Of Destiny

What is my purpose on earth? Why am I here? What am I going to become?

It’s Our Initiative

What moves God is our reaction to Him evidenced by our faith. Many Believers attempt to impress God with their horizontal outreach, which many times are void of faith. It is not knowing about God, rather it is knowing God.

In The Time Of Greatest Need

The current distress going on in the world is only part of the purification process that is sweeping through the earth. The Eurozone crisis, earthquake, massive floodings, devastating hurricanes- all these are part and parcel of the birthpangs of a new time that is approaching. These are coupled with the Interrelligious rivalries, which sees false teachings in conflict with the truth, and atrocities being committed in the name of religion.

Don’t Blame St Paul For US Support of Israel

The possibility of a nuclear clash between Israel and Iran brings the views of the Christian Right in America into focus. This article argues that their theology is wrong. The promises to Abraham only applied to one of his eight sons (and certainly not to his daughters) and of those only a “remnant” would really make the cut. The full context of St Paul’s claim that all Israel will be saved indicates that the remnant of literal Israel and individually redeemed Jews and Gentiles from the Christian era constitute the true Israel that is saved. For Christians the issues between Iran and Israel are geo-political, not religious.
