Christianity is the religion of Jesus Christ and his followers. The true Church of God believes everything Christ taught, practices a way of life based on his foundational teachings, and adheres to the inspired teachings of the Apostle James. This gospel of faith offers assurance of a good afterlife and meets practical needs.

Baptism is an important part of becoming a Christian. On the Day of Pentecost, Peter told the crowds that salvation was possible through repentance and baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. Those who believed received the Holy Spirit through the baptism. This baptism was the beginning of the ministry of the church and it continues to this day.

Christians believe that the name of Christ has the authority to cast out demons. It is important to note that Jesus gave himself the authority to cast out demons. He never told his followers to ignore these demonic spirits. The way Jesus handled this issue was to demonstrate that he was able to confront demons and heal the sick.

Jesus told His followers to preach the gospel to all creatures, and the apostles are called to teach that message. In addition, believers will cast out demons and speak in new tongues. They will even take up serpents and be unharmed by deadly substances. They will also lay hands on those who are sick and help them recover.
