After the Rapture – Seven Trumpet Judgments

This second set of seven events are called the Trumpet Judgments. These occur on the second set of 21 months during the first half of the Great Tribulation. Included in this set of judgments are the Three Woes (Rev 8:13). Why are they called the 3 Woes? These woes (Trumpet 5, 6 and 7) will release “hell on earth.”

Entering the Gates

Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name for the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

And the Light of His Face

With your hand you drove out the nations and planted our fathers; you crushed the peoples and made our fathers flourish. It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.

Praying in Tongues – The Supernatural at Work in Your Life Today

Praying in tongues is a mighty powerful avenue to the supernatural. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 13:1 that men can speak in the tongues of men and of angels. Clearly there are multitudes of languages, not only throughout the earth, but in the heavens also. By the supernatural power of the Holy Ghost, who knows and understands them all, we, as believers, have the exciting privilege of exploring words and expressions not only from this realm but from other worlds far more wonderful than we can imagine. Oh, the wonder of this gift!

How Does God Feel About Us?

If God knows all about us then what are his thoughts, his impressions, and his feelings toward us? Feelings? God has feelings? Yes, he does. God has a personality and personality includes feelings.

After the Rapture – The Seven Vial-Bowl Judgments

This third and final set of seven events are called the Vial or Bowl Judgments. These occur during the second half of the Great Tribulation. One disturbing fact I encountered while reading about these judgments is the reaction of the unsaved towards God despite His awesome display of His Power. One would think that after witnessing the phenomenal events unleashed on Earth, the unsaved would be begging God for His Mercy. Sadly, this is not so.

How Much is a Human Life Truly Worth?

We need to include tort reform as part of our health care reform. This would help to lower the cost of health care by decreasing the cost of malpractice insurance and legal fees for health care professionals. Nobody should be able to sue a doctor or any other member of the medical profession for millions and millions of dollars.

The Prayer Shawl – Yesterday and Today

The prayer shawl, known as the tallit in the Jewish community, is an intricate part of Judaica and the Jewish religion. Here is a look at prayer shawls of yesterday and today and the giving of the tallit as a gift to commemorate the major moments in the life of a young man or woman. The prayer shawl began its life as the Jewish tallit and was originally worn by men in ancient times. At the corners of the tallit tassels would be attached in fulfillment of the commandment of zizit, found in the book of Numbers.

Armageddon – Who What Where When Why How And Why the End Will NOT Come in 2012

This is the key – making decisions based on love – not fear, and having hope for the things to come. Why are these words the first in an article about Armageddon? Hope for what? What really is Armageddon? Will the earth be destroyed?

How Long Are We Supposed to Live?

Do we really have a health care crisis? We tend to think that we do simply because health care costs are too high, and we spend so much money on trying to find some fountain of youth. However, shouldn’t we be more concerned about the quality of life than the length of life? Even if we strive for longer lives, how long do we expect to live, or what would be our goal for the average life span? I suggest that we turn to the Bible for answers.

A Christian Word

Every Christian word matters a lot. Jesus said we are the salt of the world. Let your word therefore be seasoned with salt.
