Miracles of Christianity
Christianity is a religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth. It is a monotheistic, Abrahamic religion with an estimated 2.38 billion followers worldwide.
One of the miracles performed by Jesus was the transfiguration. He was said to have been changed into a glowing deity in front of the disciples. The chief priests mocked him.
As the apostles travelled, they were rewarded with several sightings of the Savior. There were also several miraculous healings.
A number of people were cured of their ailments, and many were healed by laying hands on them. Some even were cured of their demons.
The best miracle of all, however, was the resurrection of the widow’s son. This was not the first miracle of the Christian era, but it was certainly the biggest.
In fact, the gospels abound with tales of the miracles Jesus performed. These miracles were not repeatable, but were only wrought in the presence of Christ. Several were impressive, and there were others that were omitted from the record books.
Another miracle of the time was to cure the deaf. This was only possible because Jesus had the ability to hear the dead. Other awe-inspiring miracles were the healing of the paralyzed man and the healing of the lepers.
Jesus did more than heal, though. His power over demons was also on display.
There are many more miracles to be found in the Bible. Among them are healings, miraculous prophecies, and the mysterious ones in the bible.
