Miracle Healing in Christianity

The sacraments of Christianity are especially powerful healing means. According to the Catechism, Jesus touched the sick during his ministry, and we are told that Jesus continues to heal through his presence in the sacraments. The Eucharist, or the bread that gives eternal life, is one of the most powerful sacraments. In the Eucharist, Jesus is present in the form of bread, which also represents his body.

Baptism is also an essential part of the Christian faith. The Apostle Peter taught the crowds on the Day of Pentecost that the way to salvation is to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, which results in receiving the Holy Spirit. Ananias subsequently led Paul to Christ and exhorted him to be baptized in the name of the Savior.

The Bible also links the proclamation of the Christian gospel with the ministry of healing. In Acts 10:38, Peter summarized Jesus’ ministry as being about healing and the proclamation of the Christian gospel. He also taught the disciples to heal people. He also taught them to give freely to others.

Aside from being a good example of a charismatic Christian, charismatic Christians also know that evangelism, conversion, and perseverance in faith are essential to their salvation. Charismatics know that they are locked in an epic battle against demonic forces. Satan and his demons exist and are very powerful, influencing entire nations, and trying to undermine the Christian evangelization of the world.
