Miracles of Christianity

Christianity is the world’s largest religion with more than two and a half billion followers. It is based on the life of Jesus of Nazareth. During the course of his ministry, Jesus performed many miracles. He healed the sick, raised the dead, and cast out demons. The apostles were given authority to cast out unclean spirits.

Although the Apostles never performed the miraculous miracles of feeding the 5000 or walking on water, they did perform other miracles. Their healings are recorded in the New Testament.

After Jesus’ death and resurrection, the apostles continued his work by preaching the Gospel. They also traveled the world, performing miracles. These events are recorded in the book of Acts.

In addition to raising the dead, the apostles performed exorcisms. Demon possession is a form of demonic influence that can be caused by physical, emotional, or sexual abuse. This term is often translated as daimonizomai in the New Testament.

The apostles also traveled to different cities and towns, and preached the gospel. There are a few direct mandates for the church in the book of Acts. Those mandates include the need to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins.

Another command that is hidden within the New Testament is to freely give to others. God wants his children to live a long, healthy, prosperous life. When God says that his abundant life is being stolen, it means that people are suffering from fear.
