christianity

What Is Christianism?

christianity is a religion that teaches that Jesus Christ came to earth as a human being to save humanity from the consequences of their own wrong doings. According to christianity the bad things that humans do called sin, broke their relationship with God and it is only through the death and resurrection of Jesus that that relationship is restored.

Christians believe that the Bible is God’s word and is the only source of faith and practice for a Christian. This belief includes reading and praying from the bible, having fellowship with other believers at church and in small groups called a “church” (the term is also used for buildings where christians meet), tithing a portion of their income to support the work of the church, fasting, marriage, and celebrating a number of religious holidays and festivals based on the bible and other Christian books like the epistles (letters written by early church leaders).

When you see a christian cast out demons, it’s because the Spirit of God, who is inside that person, gives them the power and authority to do it. It is just as a little sister might be able to yell at her brother because she has been given delegated authority from their father.

Another belief is that the Jesus was both a human being and God at the same time (this concept is called incarnation). Many churches have a service of Communion or Eucharist where a wafer and wine are shared to symbolize Jesus’ body and blood.
