Saved by Grace – The Grace of Salvation
How are we saved? What is grace? Where does our faith come from? “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and this not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” Ephesians 2:8-9. Let us explore this statement.
Holding Faith and Good Conscience – A Commodity of Our TradeThough, faith is necessary for a good warfare, as a shield; as a launching pad for God to work with you, but a good conscience is a necessary weapon you must hold on to! Some people have put away good conscience concerning faith; and have made a shipwreck of their lives, their calling, and their anointing. A good conscience is a thing of the heart. Since no one sees another man’s conscience, your conscience represents your inner correctness, rightness, righteousness, etc. It is your consciousness that makes you aware of the motives of your action.
A Hasty Decision – What God Hates in a ManThe Bible told us that a meek spirit, contrite and waiting on God, is before God an ornament, but when you find haste in your heart, especially in taking crucial decisions on matters such as marriage, employment, ministry or any other step in life, then know that you may slip into the dungeon. So many people went hastily into crucial matters and today they seek to get out of it in another haste.
Indifference to Spiritual Things – What God Hates in a ManIndifference is lack of accurate perception, lack of sensitivity to things of the Spirit. This was one bane of Esau’s life career. He cared less about what God had said to Abraham and to Isaac, his father. He bothered not to study the covenant and the promises. It did not matter to him whether he was In God’s will or not. His right of being the first-born son, that made him surrogate head and priest of the family; the progenitor and administrator of the family heritage; including the name God gave them to call Him for immediate results in prayer – these did not strike any cord within his heart.
Working and Waiting – A Commodity of Our TradeWe are at the tail-end of the last days. Very soon, we will be gone. Now is the time to work and labour for the Master. Shortly, it will be over and it will be time of reward and rejoicing. At such a time, all hands are expected to be on deck. No person should leave himself idle. Being idle, staying aloof or sitting on the fence to watch others work, at such a time is deplorable. It is very displeasing to God and an opportunity hijacked by the devils and his agents to engage the so-called believer who failed to get engaged in God’s work with their own kind of work.
Destiny – A Place to Be!The power that controls the events of your life is called DESTINY. Whenever you are ordained for a thing, nothing stops it from coming to pass. Apart from the certainty of judgment at the second coming of Jesus, the Bible says very little about what happens after death. Though, the Old Testament writers generally expected a continued existence in Sheol.
What God Hates in a ManThe man created is so much in a hurry to achieve success in life. He introduced fast food, instant coffee or tea, ready-made goods and offer of easy solutions to difficult problems as a trademark of his leadership, yet God does not follow human criteria.
The Makings of a Real False Prophet – Where Do They Come From? Many people are rising up these days of the Internet and YouTube and making all sorts of blogs and videos exposing so called false prophets. So many people put a lot of work into supporting all they have with scriptures and they put a lot of effort in exposing people in their opinion so that the sheep of the Lord’s pasture are not affected.
All About Christening and Christening GiftCatholic christenings last for 30 minutes. Visit your vicar first for the explanation of the rite. He may ask about your faith and that of the godparents.
Prophetic Word For the Australian Church in June 2010I minister almost full time in the prophetic with up to 50 prophetic word requests each week being handled by my ministry and many by myself each week. So it is a wonderful surprise by Jesus when I am in the anointing to be given a prophetic word for Australia my nation. In this prophetic word for Australia Jesus says some things that, well, they just excite me so much!
The Joy of Having the Ability to Give Strangers a Prophetic WordFor many years I have moved in the prophetic but for many years since I was baptized in the Holy Spirit I have not attended Pentecostal churches. I am not aware how many people move in the gift of prophecy in an average church and have no idea how many people in an average congregation can give regular prophetic words. Having the ability to do prophetic evangelism and approach total strangers on the streets and deliver prophetic words and running a prophetic website that attracts about 50 prophecy requests per week fills my life with joy.
Characteristics of a BelieverThis is a large inquiry indeed. By understanding the distinction between the believers and others, the distinction between the Truth and falsehood becomes distinctly clear, as does the distinction between the persons of eternal joy and the persons of eternal misery.
