Pastor Mike Todd SPITS on someone!? – My Reaction

Romans 4 Bible Study

Romans 4 is about righteousness credited to those who have faith in Christ. Without faith, no one can please God (Hebrews 11:6).

Galatians 5 Bible Study

To attain freedom in Christ, you must not gratify your sinful nature. Instead, you should always seek to please God in whatever that you do. If you are guided by the Holy Spirit, you will not want to follow the desire of your flesh. The Holy Spirit can gives you strength to overcome all your bad habits so that you will be changed into a person with the likeness of Christ.

Galatians 4 Bible Study

The law of Moses is established so that people know what is sin and what is not sin. There are lots of laws that needed to be obeyed by the Israelites in the law of Moses. Jesus Christ died for us on the cross so that there is no need to obey the rites and special days in the law of Moses. We don’t need to offer animals as sin sacrifices to ask forgiveness of our sins from God. Jesus Christ had used his life blood to pay for our sins once and for all so that we can become the children of God. The children of promise are those that have faith in Christ. The Holy Spirit that lives in us is a witness that we are the children of God.

Romans 9 Bible Study

The Jewish nation is special in that it is the first to receive the adoption, glory, covenant, law, service of God and promises. It is through the offspring of Isaac rather than Ishmael that the children of promise will be reckoned. This is because God promised Abraham that his wife Sarah will have a son. They did have a son later and they named him Isaac. Ishmael was born through the maidservant Hagar, whom Sarah gave to Abraham as wife earlier. The Israelites did not obtain righteousness because they did not put their faith in Christ. Rather, they assume obeying the law of Moses outwardly through their actions can enable them to earn righteousness and eternal life. Jesus Christ is the stone that causes the Israelites to fall in Zion. Because they did not believe in him, they will receive their punishments from God.

Romans 8 Bible Study

The Holy Spirit set believers free from the law of sin and death. The law cannot helps us to attain righteousness, because of our sinful nature to rebel. God sent his own son, in man likeness, to die for the sins of the whole world so that the righteous requirement of the law can be met. If you let the sinful nature controls your mind, you will sin and gets punishment which results in death. This is because the wage of sin is death. If you let the Holy Spirit controls your mind, you will have life and peace.

Romans 7 Bible Study

The fruit of the law is death. The law is set up to let people know how sinful they are. When a person know the law, he becomes conscious of his sins and this stirs up rebelliousness in the person so that he is eager to sin. The wage of sin is death. Therefore, the law brings death and punishment.

Romans 6 Bible Study

You cannot continue sinning after accepting Jesus. Christians may sin at some stages in their lives but they must not consistently sin. Christians must show that they have a new life and all their bad habits are eliminated so that they can be living testimonies to others. The Holy Spirit will change you into the image of Christ after you have accepted Jesus as your savior and lord. If you sin, you must confess it to God and ask him to forgive you. Christians who sin and never repent will be punished in hell.

Romans 5 Bible Study

Christ died for the unrighteous. Everyone on this earth is a sinner. No one is righteous before God. We are all sinners because the sin Adam credited to us through disobeying God and eating from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Galatians 1 Bible Study

God raised Jesus from the dead through the Holy Spirit. Jesus offered himself as a sin sacrifice on the cross to redeem us from our sins. Through the blood that Jesus shed for us on the cross, we can receive the forgiveness of our sins and eternal life. Paul said that those who preach a different gospel should be condemned. Christians should not put a stumbling block in the way of other brothers and sisters. If the word you say or the thing you do causes someone to stumble, you should not do it. God is pleased when we love and edify one another. You can please God by doing his will. When you follow the word of God instead of the word of men, you will get the approval from God.

Stuff About Islam You Need to Know

There’s plenty of negative stuff about Islam that circulates the news these days. Obviously, terrorism and a violent Islamic holy war are negatives. What I concern myself with, however, is the other, more interesting stuff about Islam that establishes instant common ground with Christians and leads to inter-faith dialogue…

How Religion Did Not Help in the Progress of Humanity

We have come so far in the field of science but could we have been much further by now? Did religion hold us back and hinder the development of us humans as a race.

Discipleship Plan for Former Muslims

I follow a very specific discipleship plan for followers of Christ who come from ‘high context’ Muslim backgrounds. My plan is field tested, though not perfect, by any means. Others working with Arab Muslims use completely different discipleship plans successfully, and that is fine. I advocate intense, purposeful inter-faith dialogue aimed at leading Muslims from the Quran to the Bible and ultimately, to Christ…
