Utopia – Part 1
If we look at the official definition of Utopia, we can see that it has it’s roots in Sir Thomas More’s work of 1517, which was itself taken from his view of Plato’s The Republic. Here we have an early view of how people wanted to live.
God Raises Up the HumbleIn a previous article, I wrote of pride being the spiritual cancer in humanity. Romans 12:3 tells us to think of ourselves with sober judgment, each according to the faith given to us.
The Great InvitationThere are not too many words better in the human language than free. There is a popular saying that says “the best things in life are free.” I have to admit I believe that the best things in life are free for more than one reason. When I look at the sun, admire the oceans, smell the fresh air, or feel the rain touch my head I can appreciate the freedoms of the world. The human life cost nothing to create even though hospitals charge a lot to deliver a baby (laughing).

Daniel said that Christ hit the Toes of the image and destroyed the kingdom; and the kingdom of Christ filled the earth. Daniel said that the dream concerned those things which shall be in the latter days (2:28). According to Nebuchadnezzar Dream the Ten Nations along the Euphrates River will rule the world in the last days.

When choosing LDS church art to for a program or bulletin there are a few things that you must bear in mind: Is the art necessary? Not every sacrament meeting bulletin needs a graphic on the front.
House CleaningIf the church would clean its own house, it would not fall under the judgment of God. This is very difficult to hear and even more difficult to actually engage.
Living With “Floaters” and “Flashes”The discovery of floaters and flashes brought about a comparison of annoying things in both the physical and spiritual realm. Floaters are not really there and it takes effort to look past them. The same effort is needed in looking past the things that obscure our vision of God’s perfect plan.
