Miracle Healing in Christianity
Miracle Healing in Christianity
Christianity is the world’s largest religion with 2.38 billion followers. It is an Abrahamic monotheistic religion. The religion is based on the life of Jesus of Nazareth.
In the New Testament, Jesus gave commandments that included healing the sick. He used numerous methods of healing. One of the most outstanding miracles was his pouring of the Spirit of the Eternal on Pentecost.
As a follower of Christ, you must perform Christ’s priestly ministry. When you receive forgiveness of sins through confession, you become clean. Continuing in your faith, you will recover from sickness. You will be able to speak with new tongues.
If you’ve been baptized, you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. You will also experience divine healing. This is the result of God’s love for the world.
Christians can also exorcise evil spirits. Philip, an apostle, was an expert at performing miracles. His ability to heal the sick was impressive.
The Bible contains instructions on how to exorcise demons. The book of Acts does not mention any mandate for all believers to speak in tongues. However, there is a time in the book when believers did speak in tongues.
During his ministry, Jesus performed many miracles. He commanded all believers to lay hands on the sick and to cast out demons. Those who followed him were the only ones who would receive these signs.
Many churchgoers go to church to listen to the preacher’s words and to do the traditions of men. Most of them do not study the Bible or look to it for authoritative information. They will never be able to serve as a true Christian if they are not open to the truth.
