How Christianity Works – Miracle Healing, Casting Out Demons, and Raising the Dead
Christianity is a belief system that is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ. In Matthew 10:8, Jesus said to his apostles, “Receive power to cast out demons, and you will be given power to heal the sick.” He taught his followers to heal the sick by prayer. In addition, the church is given power to raise the dead. But how can it do this? Here are some ways.
During Christ’s earthly ministry, he was confronted by the Devil and other demons. His religion was quite different from liberalism. The gospel writers erroneously taught that Christ cast out demons. In light of this, many liberals believe that Christ shared their view of the devil and the demons.
Jesus also teaches that the Father in heaven revealed to the disciples who he is the Messiah. The Father in heaven opens their eyes in their time. As a result, Peter learned who Jesus of Nazareth was from heaven. Until that divine revelation dawned, the disciples remained in the dark.
The healing power of Christ was one of the reasons that people came to him. His miraculous powers helped people heal a variety of illnesses. People from Galilee were seeking his help. Even though there was no money spent on advertising, the bush telegraph allowed thousands to learn about him. Even though the people in Galilee did not know he was the Messiah, they heard about his miraculous healings.
