Christianity – Miracles and Deliverance
Christianity is a religion that believes in the divinity of Christ. As the Bible teaches, the human person is comprised of two parts: the body and the soul. Christ came to save both of these aspects and raise them to eternal life. The bible also describes the Devil as an old serpent, who deceives the whole world.
After Jesus was raised from the dead, His disciples traveled to Palestine and preached the message of Christ. One of them, Philip, had just been ordained as a deacon and showed great faith. He healed the sick, cast out demons and performed miracles. He was a powerful healer and the unclean spirits cried out of many people who were possessed.
According to the Bible, Jesus did many miracles to prove He was God. These miracles included casting out demons and turning water into wine. The apostles and disciples were used by God to perform these miracles. Miracles continued throughout the history of the church. Even today, miracles continue to occur in the church.
The preaching of the Gospel was accompanied by divine healing. The Gospel of Matthew tells how Jesus began His ministry by healing the sick and the diseased. He even sent his disciples on their first missionary to preach the gospel.
