Evangelism Follow-Up – A Commodity of Our Trade

There are no better strategies for evangelism/soul-winning or follow-up than the ones laid down by our Master JESUS CHRIST. In order to truly understand evangelism/soul-winning is one of our great commodities of trade in Christianity, one must look unto Christ and the finished work of grace. Christ set up a standard or condition which we must meet in order to carry out our personal soul-winning effectively.

The Trinity

Mention “The Trinity” and you can divide a room. The Trinity is one of the most hotly contested topics both inside and outside of Christianity. Is it a difficult concept? Is it important? Here is a simple explanation.

Purity – Or Fairly, the Lack of It!

Of the many poisons faced by the praise and worship leader, this surely is one of the most difficult to deal with, and one with the most far reaching and destructive results! Perhaps the reason for this is the fact that purity in your life is a very private and personal matter, and consequently one which is not dealt with publicly until it has become a huge monster!

The Gospel Was Never My Idea!

A good number of us from this church recently went down to Canberra to participate in a rally on behalf of our local Islamic Sheikh – to prevent the Government deporting him without a trial! Its depressing too when you read newspaper reports that seem to deliberately distort what took place, and when you…

The Stoning of Stephen

But filled with the Holy Spirit, [Stephen] gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. “Look,” he said, “I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!” But they covered their ears, and with a loud shout all rushed together against him. Then they dragged him out of the city and began to stone him; and the witnesses laid their coats at the feet of a young man named Saul. While they were stoning Stephen, he prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he knelt down and cried out in a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he died.
