Miracles of Christianity

Christianity is the world’s largest religion with over 2.38 billion followers worldwide. It is a monotheistic religion based on the life of Jesus of Nazareth.

There are numerous miracles in the Bible. For instance, the book of Acts records a few instances of speaking in tongues. However, this doesn’t mean that everyone who is a Christian can speak in tongues.

The Bible is clear that there is a God. Christians are called to follow Jesus and live for Christ. This involves the use of the Holy Spirit. Likewise, the Bible also states that the Holy Spirit comes into the lives of believers at the time of salvation.

Among the many miraculous events recorded in the Bible are the signs and wonders of the Lord Jesus. In addition, there are also miracles attributed to the apostles. One of the more impressive miracles was the raising of the dead.

However, these were not the miracles of old. The Bible mentions the miracle of healing in several places.

Healings were not to keep the church healthy, but to cure a sick person. Unlike today, these are often not performed on a grand scale. They were usually given to the uninitiated or to the sick.

The book of Acts contains a few direct mandates for the church. Some of them involve the use of the sexiest tidbits. But there are also a number of lesser known examples.

A quick search of the internet yields numerous articles about the most impressive miracles in the Bible. Many of these are not actually miracles, but they are the miracles of Jesus.
