The Essence of Christianity
Christianity is a religion that believes in Jesus as the Son of God who was sent to earth to save us from our sins. Christians believe that through Jesus’ death on the cross, Christ paid the price for our sins and restored the broken relationship between God and mankind.
The essence of christianity is to be a child of God by faith in Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Christians believe that God created man and woman specifically to be in relationship with him, but because of our sin, we are separated from God (Romans 3:23; 5:12). The Bible teaches that Jesus was born, lived, died, was buried, and rose again. He then ascended to the right hand of the Father, making intercession for all who trust in him.
Christian faith also includes the belief that Jesus gave His followers the ability to cast out demons and heal the sick. Various people have experienced this power through their own personal experience, and it is a great example of how God can use His followers to help others.
During the early years of the church, many believers in Christ had experience with this power and saw how it was used to help them. Some examples of this include a woman who was brought back to life after being healed by the apostle Paul, and a person who was made to walk again after he was healed.
The Bible teaches that healings are only accomplished by faith in God. Moreover, the Bible says that the Lord will not hear a prayer that is not offered with faith. Therefore, if you are experiencing any kind of illness or are in pain, please do not hesitate to call on the Lord to pray over you and anoint you with oil.
