Miracles of Christianity
Christianity is a religion based on the life of Jesus of Nazareth. It is a monotheistic, Abrahamic religion that is practiced by around 2.38 billion people worldwide.
One of the great miracles of Christianity was the pouring of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. The Apostles are the human instruments through which God bestows the gifts of the Spirit.
During the first thousand years of church history, there was no end to the battle between demons and the Word of God. These were the days of prophets, and the heavens answered their call.
The apostles and other Christian leaders performed the miracles of God. They prayed, and their words of wisdom set back demons. They performed miraculous judgments, and they healed the sick.
The Bible describes many other miracles of Jesus. But there are some that are not recorded in the Scriptures. For example, the apostle John prayed in the temple of Diana, and he exorcised demons.
Probably the most remarkable miracle of all was the ascension of Jesus. This was a stupendous feat. Until that time, the most astonishing miracles had to be the ones performed by the prophets.
In addition, there was a miracle of a different kind. Some of the most amazing things that occurred were the signs of the heavens. Heavenly fire stamped these signs into the souls of those who believed.
These signs were also the most esoteric. There are a number of theories on what these signs were. One theory is that they were meant to be seen by the believers.
