Evangelism, Conversion, and Perseverance in the Faith of the Saved

Christianity is a religion based on the life of Jesus of Nazareth. It is the most popular religion in the world with over 2.38 billion adherents. That is one-third of the world’s population. Christians are committed to following Jesus’ teachings as they relate to the existence of God.

Christian denominations are generally divided into several subgroups, each with a distinctive belief system. These subgroups may not be orthodox. Some subgroups of Christian faith are more charismatic than others. For example, the charismatic Vineyard Movement is a form of evangelicalism.

Jesus chose twelve apostles who would follow him. They were known as the Boanerges, which means “sons of Thunder” in Spanish. These apostles had the power to cast out demons, cure diseases, and perform miracles. It’s important to remember that Jesus chose a small group of people to follow him.

In Nigeria, many Nigerians developed a concept of spiritual election. In a book titled “Satanic Diversion of the Black Race,” Olukoya responded to a question about his conversion to Christianity in the mid-1970s. “Christianity was originally African and was abandoned in favor of idolatry.”

Those who follow a charismatic Christianity are focused on evangelism, conversion, and perseverance in the faith of the saved. They understand that they are engaged in a fierce end-times battle with demonic forces. Satan and his demons are real and occupy entire nations. The demonic forces in the world are determined to undermine the Christian evangelization of the world.
