Miracle Healing and Christian Deliverance
The concept of demonic possession and exorcism is deeply rooted in the teachings of Jesus and the Bible. When the Holy Spirit is ruling, demons cannot comfortably reside inside a Christian. By contrast, an individual who lacks the indwelling of God is open to demon possession.
In the teachings of Jesus, the apostles were told to preach the gospel to every creature, including the sick. They were also told that believers would cast out demons and speak with new tongues. They would also be healed and not be harmed by deadly substances. Finally, they would lay hands on the sick and they would recover.
The apostles had the power to perform miracles. They were able to cast out demons and heal people. In other words, they had the power to cure anyone. The apostles’ miracles included the casting out of demons. These powers were given to them by Jesus in order to show the people how to live a Christian life.
Jesus prayed for healing, and often he told people to “according to their FAITH.” In the story in Matthew 9:29, Jesus cured a paralytic man, despite the fact that his condition was so severe that he could barely move. When Jesus said “Son, your sins are forgiven,” he healed him in front of witnesses.
