What Is Christianity?
Christianity is a religion that teaches that God sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to restore the relationship between humans and God which had been broken by human wrong-doing.
Christians believe that Jesus died on a cross (Crucifixion) and rose from the dead (Resurrection). They also know that God is love and wants everyone to be saved by believing in Jesus and following his teachings.
Faith in Jesus is a way of trusting that he will save people from their sins and help them to live a righteous life (Romans 5:8; 1 John 2:2). It means turning away from sin and following a good pattern of living, such as reading the Bible daily.
Acts of healing
The healing of the sick, as part of the Christian community’s life and witness to God’s kingdom, declares the reality of a sovereign, loving God who has come to earth to bring healing to all. These acts of healing have become a common phenomenon, mediated through different kinds of Christian workers.
Deliverance from Demons
Today’s deliverance ministries claim to cast out demons from “demon-possessed” people but their practices are not in agreement with the Bible. They are also claiming that there is a space inside the body where demons can indwell, although the Bible nowhere teaches such things.
The Bible is clear that you should resist the devil and that he will flee from you (James 4:7; Ephesians 4:27). If demons are present in your life, use your authority in Christ to cast them out and they will flee.
