There are many Christians in Africa who claim to have had miraculous experiences. However, Christians should check against gullible acceptance of such claims. Many people contend with demons and evil spirits in their day to day lives. As a Christian, you must face these evil spirits head on.

One of the ways to confront them is through exorcism. This is an ancient practice used in the time of Jesus. In Jesus’ time, ordinary exorcists used magic rites and spells to expel unclean spirits.

Nevertheless, the bible scriptures confirm that Jesus had the power to cast out demons. Moreover, his miracles showed his divine nature. He was the Son of God and had authority over all creatures on earth.

Jesus was able to deal with evil in the heart of men and he had a genuine love for those who were under the influence of satanic forces. At times, he even tried to deliver those who were in bondage.
